• If you have stumbled onto this website, please note that everything is a work in progress, so nothing is complete.

• The website is only titled as a "Commentary" because that was my initial idea, but it hasn't really turned out that way. I have now decided to use the website as a place to hold my preaching notes on each verse of the bible. I am starting with the book of Exodus. The website is really designed for my own personal benefit as a place I can store my bible notes and access them on the go, so it will only remain here while I continue to find it personally useful. In the mean time, if you also find it helpful then that is great.

• Disclaimer: Some of my preaching notes are the result of reading various commentaries or hearing other sermons preached over the years, but I may well forget the specific source. I don't wish to claim any originality in those instances. My notes may well not have any links to a specific resource or source text; they are simply my own personal preaching notes; they are not designed as essays with an attached bibliography. I strongly suggest that any one who reads this website should also do their own research and read a few other commentaries. But also my notes are primarily based on the bible story itself rather than relying solely on commentaries and I try to consider what specifically I can focus on within each verse when preaching.
